Personal Accident Insurance Coverage Options

Personal Accident Insurance Coverage Options

Coverage is provided for injuries and loss of life. AMA offers two personal accident insurance options:

On the Move

This travel-related plan covers you when you’re on the move, 24 hours a day, seven days a week – whether you’re driving, a passenger or a pedestrian. On the Move provides coverage for accidents resulting from:

Part A: Personal transportation or as a pedestrian

This part of policy covers you while you are travelling in or on a personal mode of transportation such as an automobile, snow mobile, farm vehicle, recreational vehicle, bicycle, watercraft as a passenger in a private aircraft or as a pedestrian,

AND
Part B: On a scheduled airline flight or common carrier

This part of the policy covers you while you are travelling as a passenger on, or boarding or departing from, a scheduled airline flight or common carrier (such as taxi, bus, subway, train, ferry or ship), but not while an operator or member of the crew.

All the time

This plan provides you with a broader, all the time protection. If you’re a farmer or self-employed, work in a high-risk occupation, or just lead an active life, this may be the coverage for you.

Part A: Any accident not excluded

This part of the policy covers you for every situation outlined in Part A – Personal Transportation or as a Pedestrian described above, as well as any other accident resulting from an event or activity that is not specifically excluded in the Policy wording. This includes working around your house, e.g. working on a ladder washing windows or painting, or at a work site,
AND

Part B: On a scheduled flight or common carrier

This part of the policy covers you while you are travelling as a passenger on, or boarding or departing from, a scheduled airline flight or common carrier (such as taxi, bus, subway, train, ferry, ship), but not while an operator or member of the crew.
