AMA was founded on the goal of helping Albertans live their best lives. Now in its sixth year, Fill our Fleet is our single biggest act of charity. Every holiday season we assist members in giving back to families struggling to put food on the table. To date, through Fill our Fleet and AMA Shredding events, we’ve helped raise nearly $400,000 and 100,000 lb. of food for local food banks across the province.
Bring your little ones, your membership card, and a donation (monetary or non-perishable food) to get a photo taken with Santa. We’ll unveil dates for the next Santa photo events in December 2018.
Where do the donations go?
All donations stay local, and we work with ten food banks across the province to ensure donations stay in the community.
What are all the ways AMA gives back during Fill our Fleet?
Can I get a tax receipt?
Of course! You can receive a tax receipt for all monetary donations over $25. However, AMA does not issue the receipts. If you donate online you can select an option to get a receipt from the charity. If you donate in centres we’ll collect your information so that local food banks can issue your receipt in January.
