With small businesses making up 95% of Alberta industry, and more than 10,000 new players joining those ranks every year, everyone’s looking for a leg up. Since 2015, AMA’s Small Business Services has delivered that advantage to our members – and it’s about to get even bigger.

Edmonton Kingsway Centre is now staffed with a full time advisor from Business Link, one of the most recognizable and successful support organizations for small businesses in Alberta. The non-profit group provides one-on-one support and guidance to Albertans who want to start a business. Eventually, AMA Registries staff in all centres will be trained by Business Link to provide members with an overview of available services and help facilitate referrals.

Members can contact the on-site Business Link advisor by phone, email or in person. We’re also implementing the ability to make appointments, allowing members to book consultation times that suit their schedules. In addition, Business Link hosts numerous events, programs, webinars and has extensive resources to help equip entrepreneurs with the tools they need to be successful. With over 20 years of experience supporting the small business community, they have a wealth of knowledge to share.
