We believe that Alberta’s strength begins in the community. So we partner with schools, police services, and nonprofit organizations across Alberta to create programs that make our roads and the environment safer, and improve the lives of all Albertans.

Our Aging Driver programs help our members stay behind the wheel for as long as safely possible. When it’s time to reduce or retire from driving, we can help seniors maintain their independence.Learn More About Age and Driving
Distracted Driving isn’t just against the law, it’s against common sense. We’re asking Albertans, “What are you doing behind the wheel?” and encouraging you to spread the word and take the pledge.Take the Distracted Driving Pledge

We want you to get around safely, whether you travel on four wheels, two wheels, or your own two feet. By sharing the road with those around you, avoiding distractions, reducing speed, and preventing impaired driving, we can reduce collisions and make sure that everyone gets where they are going safely.See Our Driver Education Courses
Impaired Driving continues to take a tragic toll on Alberta families. That’s why we’re advocating for an enhanced strategy to prevent impaired driving and working to educate impaired drivers to make better choices. This year, we’re rewarding sober drivers at Check Stops with junior hockey tickets or TaxiDollars, good with local taxi companies.About the Alberta Impaired Drivers Program Designated Driver Services Plan to Get Home Safely
Give Us Room to Work reminds us that no matter where we work, we all want to get home safely at the end of the day. This educational program teaches how to safely pass emergency vehicles stopped on the side of the road, as well as how to safely drive through a construction site.Order the Toolkit What Are Emergency Workers Really Doing? In Alberta, we love to drive. And with over 31,000 km of highways, there’s a lot for us to see. But our love of putting the rubber to the road doesn’t mean we have to sacrifice our love for the environment – it is possible to balance the two. That’s why we support initiatives for achieving sustainable mobility and providing education about green driving.Register to Find Your Carpool Match
